Well this term I haven't been on my blog for a long time due to all these different events at school that have been happening. The most recent post I have done was from three weeks ago roughly and now my ambition is to roll my whole term, so far, into one big post so here is the most recent happenings.
Tech Arts
Tech Arts was very cool and unfortunately I keep on forgetting to take a camera with me to tech arts. We have finished art and now Room 3 year 7's are onto hard materials with Mr Monk. On Tuesday 26th May we made spinning tops and I made a butterfly. They were straight away banished from school at three o'clock.
Mufti Day
On Wednesday we had a mufti day where you had to dress up as first response (example:Firefighter, Ambulance etc) but I did not dress up in random mufti.
Band
I have moved up to SENIOR Band and it is the same as junior. Heaps of laughter, fun and commitment. We are focusing on a piece called winged victory It is coming along alright. On the first day I got to Senior band a pile of music.
Kapahaka
For kapahaka the latest update is that we are learning a new song called Haere mai ki ahau ki Maniapoto E. Half way through kapahaka I have been getting dismissed for two main reasons... Production and Walton Street Cafe gig. That is right gig. here is some info on the gig.
Walton Street gig
Well for Walton street I am singing three songs at midday on the queen's birthday. They are Thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran, The Beatles Blackbird and my rock band's original song Fight On but acoustically.
Production
Just practice practice practice.
